Personalized Learning Regimen
During FLY sessions, students will receive small group setting observations that allow team members to develop a personalized learning plan that suits their individual needs in order to maximize learning.

Hello!
I’m Derrick
I'm here to show you what the next level looks like
I am an aircraft engineer for the Air Force and a previous Division 1 Football player at NC State University. With my background I was and am constanly exposed to challenging situations that require 110% commitment and often a little bit of creativity to find success. I want to pass my knowledge from my experiences on to the next generation through FLY.
My goal is to reignite curiosity and wonder in teenagers and help them realize a path toward achieving their wildest career dreams. When we are young we are always asking why and building our intellectual database. But when we become too cool, we stop wondering and stop learning to our full potential. With FLY, I will reintroduce students to asking the question why? And help them develop an overload of confidence in their ability have a striking impact on the world.
